WARREN LIGHTS UP CITY HALL TO BRING AWARENESS TO THE MICHIGAN HEART GALLERY

Warren City Hall was lit up in purple, white, purple tonight, from dusk on Wednesday, Nov. 17 through dawn on Thursday, Nov. 18.   

Warren City Hall is hosting the MI-DHHS Michigan Heart Gallery to help find foster children up for adoption find a permanent home. Warren will have the exhibit leading up to Michigan Adoption Day on November 23rd.

The exhibit is located in the atrium of city hall.  

World Pancreatic Cancer Day on November 18, 2021. On World Pancreatic Cancer Day, there is a global effort to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer will be the 2nd leading cause of cancer death nationwide in the next few years, and currently has the lowest survival rate of any cancer. The symptoms of pancreatic cancer can be vague and non-specific, which means that pancreatic cancer is typically not diagnosed until late stages, resulting in poor outcomes, with just 9% of patients surviving 5 years after diagnosis.
